&lt;p&gt;Answers according to your questions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) and 2)Mohorana/dower is right of the wife and husband is bound to give it. As you said the wife has already filed a case for dower, husband can fight the case and wait for the court&#039;s decision. If they are threatening then the husband can file GD or another case for threatening.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3) Husband can settle dower/mohorana out of the court and make an affidavit and submit it to the court to dismiss the case.&lt;/p&gt;
